WORKSHOPS - HANDS-ON, INTERACTIVE & FUNFILLED

Our workshops are a show in themselves that fit before, after or between on-stage performances. Children have the chance to create and experience many kinds of art over a period of 30 to 45 minutes.

Workshops are available Wednesday June 4th, Thursday June 5th and Friday June 6th between 9:30 am and 2:00 pm.

Teachers - call us to book an exciting arts adventure for your class at a time convenient for you.

ONLY $2.50 per Student with a performance ticket and $4.00 without one.

THE NEXT PICASSO
Grades 1 +


Red, yellow, blue – just colours? Not when you learn to paint with London Artist Ruby Chapman. With paintbrushes and canvass, everyone will create their own masterpiece to take home.



WILDFIRE DANCE LEADERSHIP
Grades 6 +


International young adults in Wildfire Dance Theatre captivate and motivate youth through meaningful discussions and activities. Addressing social issues such as racism, violence and inequity, students gain knowledge to make positive differences in their community.



DEFYING GRAVITY
Grades K +


CLaroL the CLown will show you how to juggle scarves and balance peacock feathers on hands / noses / elbows and other body parts!



MAGICAL MYSTERIES
Grades Preschool +


Join Captain Corbin the Magical Pirate to learn some amazing magic tricks. Find out how to make things appear and disappear and wow your family and friends with your magical skills!



COMIC CHARACTERS
Grades 3 +


Join Freeze DNA to learn how to illustrate comic books. Students will be taught how to draw animals, illustrations, and facial expressions in a fun and interactive environment.



DRUMMING & DANCING
Grades 2 +


Listen to the drumming rhythms of Jack Barnes, as Sharon Wise leads you through dance movements of various styles. Learn to express yourself through Flamenco, Middle Eastern, and First Nations dance steps. Join them for a highly entertaining and interactive session that is sure to keep your toes tapping!


LIGHT UP YOUR LIFE
Grades 3 +


Join Mad Science to experiment with different light sources and shadows, and learn how to create patterns of light, and separate light into a spectrum of colours. Students develop confidence and enthusiasm for science.
